the only hope is if the data shows omicron causes significantly less hospitalizations and deaths because clearly too many humans are too dumb to try and limit the impact of the virus globally whether its the ring wing nuts, conspiracy theorists, or countries hoarding excess vaccine doses. maybe put more restrictive measures in place because i dont think a league shutting down accomplishes anything.
