That's never been how they do business. They're very comfortable with trying to be competitive. They know they're in a market that appreciates halfway decent basketball and if they went to an extended rebuild, they'd lose the fanbase to all the college teams around them.


Put it this way: Sabonis is 25. If you feel he's done all he can there, then they might as well trade Duarte too since he's only a year younger than him.

I think there’s a fine line between tanking and trying something new because what you have is stagnant. I don’t expect them to go full Hinkie because historically that’s not how they move. But they’ve traded basically every good player they’ve had in the last 30 years besides Reggie Miller & Rik Smits, so I don’t think they’re above doing it :manny:
