He’s better than 11-15 and if you factor Kawhi injury :manny:

Talent wise I agree but as far as overall impact...nah

Kyrie never sniffed the playoffs as the main guy.
Not even close. Teams have done better when he was injured(celtics)

His game is aesthetically pleasing but how much does he impact winning.

I would feel ok with him ahead of Beal but that's it

What teams has he had who were supposed to do anything with him as the man ?

Based on their criteria Kyrie should be higher

The goal remains to evaluate players in a vacuum as much as possible, without overvaluing team context in taking stock of their quality.

The list attempts to account for the entirety of a player’s impact: offense, defense, structural or otherwise, and tends to favor those with the most malleable skill-sets.

Who would you put him over on that list.

Only person I could see is PG

Other than that, I think hes top 25 for sure but top 15 is :patrice:

Butler and Beal

What has Bradley Beal done other than score on bad teams that compete for nothing ? After Jimmy's horrific playoff run this year im not putting him top 15....

nikkas straight up disrespect the fukk out of Westbrook

after proving himself on multiple teams and breaking crazy records, he's got the most scrutinized and under the microscope years of his career coming up.... as the primary ballhandle, playing along side one of the greatest players in history as the primary play caller and ballhandler

edit for the Kyrie hate too... same situation besides the Triple doubles, Brooklyn needs this dude to be healthy and efficient, imagine saying the dude dropping 30 in the finals and hitting clutch off balance 3's over the greatest 3 point shooter in history for a ring is trash :mjlol:

I agreed that I would swap out beal.

I could see Butler too but Jimmy made a Finals as the #1, bubble or not...he did it and he almost made Finals as 1b on the Sixers if not for the lucky bounce Kawhi shot. Butler gives you more than Kyrie besides shooting which is a big deal so I'm not minimizing that

Kyrie as #1 only has 33 win seasons. Yes he was crucial to the Cavs title but Bron did the heavy lifting....let's be real. Kyrue hit some big shots but come on Kyrie couldnt even make 8th seed in the East as the best player on his team

You should be able to at least be .500 even with scrubs. I'm not saying he shoulda won a title dolo but he never even got close to even .500

Most of the players on the list are relatively multifaceted. Kyrie is just a plus scorer, hes average at passing, mediocre at best on defense.

I'm not a hater, dude is maybe top 5 as far as offensive talent but he is just average at everything else

None of those players have been .500 with scrubs tho

His team as the #1 in Cleveland were worse than damn near everyone on the bottom half’s

We say it every year but hopefully muthafukkas stay reasonably healthy this year, for real for real.

A lot of fun teams to watch, especially by post-all star break once guys like Murray and Klay are presumably back / fully reincorporated.
