Similar problem to the Knicks where they have a number of very good, very young, but very "B" level players that can overachieve when inspired... but their core is still a B, and the league is full of teams with B level cores. For example, do they have a more talented roster than CHI, WASH, PHI, CHA, CLE, BOS? Not head and shoulders better, if at all. So what happens when those teams decide to play inspired? And that's not even mentioning BK, MIL, MIA.

I just listed 9 East teams other than ATL and NYK. It's like a poster mentioned the other day, ATL is underachieving to an extent but these other East teams can get busy too.
