Bucks almost gave it away
Garrison Matthews nearly hit the game winner from halfcourt :whew:

Wizards are now 13-4 in last 17 games and all those Ls were on last possession.

Gafford got fouled by Connaughton at end there.

Beal loses another game scoring 40. Another waste

Among the potential coaching candidates for the Trail Blazers, sources say: Lakers assistant Jason Kidd, Hawks interim coach Nate McMillan, 76ers assistant Dave Joerger, Clippers assistant Chauncey Billups and Spurs vice president of basketball operations Brent Barry.

Sources say Blazers chairwoman Jody Allen, who took over for her brother, Paul, when he passed away in October 2018, has become increasingly focused on the Blazers’ future this season. What’s more, the absence of fans inside the Moda Center for so much of the season meant Stotts was being closely monitored by ownership inside a fishbowl environment that didn’t help his cause.

If the Blazers ultimately make a move on the Stotts front, sources say they’d be likely to go for a big name, high-dollar coach to replace him. Remember, this is the same ownership group that has the Seattle Seahawks and their dynamic leader, Pete Carroll. The thinking, potentially, is that it’s time for Lillard’s Blazers to have someone of that ilk to take them to the next level.

:ehh:

Jason Kidd has been rumored to the vacant UNLV job. Word was that he was interested years ago but the University couldn't consider him until he got his degree from Cal. He obtained that degree not too long ago :jbhmm:

Even through injuries, the Jazz are earning that #1 seed. I don't think teams really fear them in the playoffs though.
They wouldn't be feared. Altho to be fair, I don't think they fear any of the other teams either. I get that 2011 Mavs vibe from them, altho a couple of fortunate breaks (two games Kobe missed game winners) and self-implosions (LeBron/Heat) had to happen; which is the type of fortune UTA would probably need.
