Refs been like that for a long time especially if you have a history. I've seen refs give out tech because a player looked at them a certain way . Luka needs to learn to stop arguing calls so much. Leave that to the coaching staff to do.

They wouldn't be feared. Altho to be fair, I don't think they fear any of the other teams either. I get that 2011 Mavs vibe from them, altho a couple of fortunate breaks (two games Kobe missed game winners) and self-implosions (LeBron/Heat) had to happen; which is the type of fortune UTA would probably need.

Well like mavs in 2011 bron will be injured ankle like Kobe had injured knee, and we can see nets implode too. The question is do they have a Dirk that will go on a historic run

I don't think there is a coach in this world who could turn Blazers into championship contenders....They got undersized ball dominant non defensive backcourt and then traded Trent jr. for another undersized player. Their roster is as bad as it gets, front office clearly doesn't know what they are doing. Blazers got lucky one year making it to the conference finals because no one was doubling Dame until WCF. Their team is a bad fit and unfortunately time to blow it up will come pretty soon.

Wolves still playing terrible defense and I'm a little dubious on their competitiveness due to some teams packing it in for tanking or getting ready for the playoffs but the offense is as talented as a lot of teams, just get nothing defensively from players not named Vanderbilt or McDaniels

Tbf Dirk wasn’t that great vs MIA.
26ppg on 41% shooting. 36.8% from 3. He was trash in game 6 and it didn’t even matter.

vs LAL he was 25ppg on 57% (71% from 3!)... but the entire Mavs shot 46% from 3, while LAL shot... 19%.

For a team not known for defense (BK) and a hobbled team abysmal at making 3s (LAL) an opportunity is there for UTA. Altho this could also apply to LAC and PHO.

Hawks gonna be a tough out for whoever they come up against in the playoffs. Just a ridiculous amount of depth.
