PG, Russ, Wall. Big contracts can be moved. And an unhappy star will ultimately be accommodated. Giannis is an amalgam of both scenarios.
1. Russ was moved because was not good
2. Wall was moved for the same reason

PG was moved because OKC was more than willing to move him and start their rebuild.

Bucks are not looking to rebuild, they traded away most their assets to build this team. Giannis is also not unhappy, he wants to be there.

Russ requested a trade. 28/8/7 shooting a career best and an All-NBA season. He left because he asked to leave.
The Wiz made the assumption that Wall wouldn't be up to par.
And PG was moved because there's no scenario where you don't take young, elite talent and a king's ransom of picks for a flaky, injury prone guy.

I see where you're trying to come from. But I repeat. If Giannis wants to leave, they'll trade him. All this could be moot though. He hasn't expressed a desire to leave, so we're just talking ifs, buts, and maybes. Let's revisit if the topic ever truly becomes relevant.

One of yall was arguing with me in the offseason thread when I said Giannis needed to consider Denver or Dallas.. talkin bout Giannis would make any team a contender and could just stay in Milwaukee.

Pssshhh

He made the right financial decision, which in truth is the biggest win but it's basically KG in 'Sota all over again. The saving grace is the rest of the East ain't shyt either, apart from BK and Philly.. so an inspired Bucks team should still be the 3rd best team in the Conference. But it's almost like they've given up.

There is zero incentive for the bucks to trade a guy who they just signed lol. He is stuck for the next 4 years minimum. He chose this

Theyre not gonna trade him for at least 2 years because of the size of the contract...trading a guy making a supermax is complicated.
