Lol at everyone losing their mind. Shaq was literally challenging spida to elevate his game and become a championship player. Twitter generation so soft. Shaq even said that’s what I want to hear when Mitchell responded. This is what happen when participation trophy generation grows up
do it directly and not on national tv then :mjlol: shaq can't even take an honest discussion about where he ranks against other all-time greats without getting butthurt but he's honest and earnest with tough love criticism on others?

The Coli said that your insight matters more if you're a former player :sas2: :mjlol:
I mean honestly who are we to criticize Shaq? He's a legend, everything he says is more valid than anything any of us says, right? Really we shouldn't even discuss basically, this board should just be posting quotes from Shaq telling us what to think. :yeshrug:

Not nearly as talented but this Knicks squad reminds me a bit of the late 90s Van Gundy squad. Ugly, slow-paced grind it out basketball. They don’t have the firepower to do what the rest of the league is doing offensively so it’s the best way for them to win. I grew up in that era (99 Knicks are my favorite team of all time) so it’s refreshing for me to see but I know it’s tough for other people to watch lol. I think if the Knicks sneak into the 8th or 7th spot Thibs deserves coach of the year.

I appreciate it...wish every team had their own unique style

Zion may have the worse defensive awareness in the league. Breh went flying across the court off a simple hesi thinking it was a pass :mjlol:
You can't say that shyt man, I was pointing out Zion's lack of defensive impact and had all sorts of guys at my neck telling me I was full of shyt.

Two games since then, Zion had combined 59 points on incredible 23-33 shooting......and yet the Pelicans in those two games were -29 with Zion on the floor and +0 with Zion off the floor.

How does that happen? How are you playing the other team about even when your best big man is off the court, yet fall off a cliff when he's there even WHILE he's dominating on the offensive side?

makes no sense. Either he has some deep dark secrets or the basketball all world just conspires him

Bron said something too

it boggles my mind how we reach a certain age and just revise the shyt out of history

YOUNG PLAYERS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN "SENSITIVE" ABOUT OLDHEAD CRITICISM.

Shaq was one of the main ones crying about the older players shytting on his game. He even made up stories to fake rivalries. He was on nbc talking about "the big man ordinance states that players below him cant say shyt about him" when Bill Walton got at him

You would think they would stop that cycle once they get in position but its like once we hit 40 or some shyt, we get mib'ed and forget what having your heros talk down felt like
