NBPA Interested In Negotiating Equity Options In Next CBA

Interesting. I don't see owners allowing that in that capacity, due to players demanding trades and leaving during FA and such (conflict of interest etc)...I know I wouldn't...but it'll be interesting if they can come up with something. I can see equity in the league itself, but then you have to discuss foregoing part of your salary, at what tenure level would this be allowed, what happens with early retirement/expulsion from league/injury-shortened career...etc.

The more I think of it, I don't think the owners will allow..or the NBA would go for it.
