I honestly don’t know why Houston moved Levert. Oladipo is inefficient and not getting you to the playoffs plus hes bolting for Miami

They must really want the cap space. That's the main thing I thought of when I saw they did that. They're comparable in terms of talent IMO, but they have to be content with Vic leaving and just having the flexibility financially moving forward.

I dunno the metrics BR uses but i will say that expectations were so low for George coming into this season that him playing like a top 10 player is more eye catching than Kawhi quietly maintaining his play as one.

Their numbers are almost identical. Same ppg, same assists. PG averages 1more reb, while kawhi avg one more steal.

PG true shooting is significantly higher though, and is shooting 50% from 3

Assuming LeVert recovers well from his situation, I thought it made more sense to keep LeVert. It's not like they are going to attract a FA, might as well have a proven young player to develop as you begin to surround him with other young players.

But going forward I suppose with cap space they can utilize the Nets tactic of trading for picks in exchange for absorbing unwanted contracts.

Facts. Only real knock on PG early on is that he averages 4 turnovers to go with those 6 assists; Leonard's been their better ball handler and there's been some recent games where he (KL) pretty much put the game away in the 3rd quarter.

However, if they keep up this pace and LAC wins out in the regular season both of them are gonna be neck & neck
