I mean why not? We gotta look at the circumstances of the season. On paper Suns got everything a team need. Shooters, playmakers, defenders.

Thibs is hands down a better coach than Monty always has been. The Knicks season is much more unexpected in my book.

We are talking about being one game back from the best team in the league along with being top 10 in offense and defense. Thib's peers thought that Monty was more worthy of COTY, but it doesn't mean that the media will view it the same.
