I figure at some point in this year's playoffs, Luke is gonna face a team that has no frail defenders he can hunt in the PnR or no frail interior he can bully unimpeded to the basket. It might be Utah, it might be a rematch with LAC.. but it kinda feels inevitable. At which point, it'll get ugly for him and the fangs will come out from the media.

Or Porzningis will just get hurt again and they'll blame it on his teammates :manny:
Utah don’t want to see Harden or Vanilla Harden no time soon in the postseason. They’re miserable against that type of player and successful against the other

I think Utah does want to see him, and Denver too. But i'm making the assumption that Donovan has turned the corner and, even if he doesn't reach bubble-level highs, will be ignorantly good in the playoffs this year.

The offense was fine because they're both great offensive players. But the chemistry was ass, CP3 hated playing with Harden on the court, and their net rating was actually better when Harden was benched cause the defense was so much better without him.

They still had the 6th best defense in the league that year

Yes, because they were loaded with strong defenders - CP3, Gordon, Ariza, Tucker, Capela were all very good at their positions. The only weak spot was Harden, which is why the defense improved so much when Harden was off the court.

Now bring that dynamic to Denver. Denver already has a suspect defense as it was, then they lost Jeremi Grant, and now you want to take Will Barton and Gary Harris out and replace them with James Harden? An already suspect defense is going to get even worse.

after watching his highlights from last night more closely...I have to say Giannis has improved a bit. He didn't look down on his 3pt shot attempts, release was higher especially out of the post, & dribbling was less chaotic...overall the improvements may not be as pronounced as others may show, but it does seem like he is getting more comfortable doing things he hasn't mastered yet, but it was only 1 game, so we gotta wait and see.
