This is loaded draft so if it conveys this year, then it will have more value than the Wiseman pick last year. I'd try offering Minny their pick back in exchange for KAT. Especially since a lot of people around the league believe that they should build around Edwards anyways.
Or they could theoretically call Washington about Beal. The problem with a lot of future picks is that we don't know what they will look like until years down the road. This one is different. Now if it doesn't convey this year, then they are fukked as it's going to lose an insane amount of value.

They do have a team, but Lonzo isn't the missing piece
I think they did quite well for themselves and have taken the team very far for a squad led by Randle. But Lonzo isn't winning any playoff games for them or anyone for that matter. He's an average, maybe above average guard being overrated for his defense, but in reality defense has never mattered much at the point guard position, and he doesn't play good enough on offense to match up with some of the guys that he'd need to play against in the east playoffs like Kyrie, Holiday, Simmons, etc.

They obviously can't field a winning team around (granted some of that is on him), so whose to say that he won't demand a trade at some point?
With Beal, if he turns down the extension in the offseason then Washington has no other choice but to consider trading him. Unless you'd prefer they chance it in hops that they sign re-sign him when he hits unrestricted free agency?

Look I don’t want to make this a Jokic vs Embiid post but one thing I like about Jokic is that he at least looks to finish all the time. Embiid is incredible but he sometimes acts like a 7f0 280lb Harden or Trae Young with his foul baiting and it gets annoying
