Report: James Wiseman to train with Kevin Garnett in offseason

A new report indicates that over the upcoming offseason, Golden State Warriors center James Wiseman is planning on working out with Hall of Famer Kevin Garnett.

During an appearance on the “Warriors Off Court” podcast, Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle spoke about how Wiseman’s mother had informed him of the planned workouts.

“One thing his mom told me recently was that James already cannot wait for the offseason to train with Kevin Garnett,” Letourneau said. “They actually have reached out to each other, and they do have plans to work together this summer.”

gil never lied

I disagree with Gil here. Watching Gonzaga, it looked like Few had the shackles on Suggs to promote full team play so everyone could touch the ball. Suggs was clearly their best player in the title game too and the only one capable of handling Baylor's pressure. I said a few times in the March Madness thread that I couldn't believe #3 on the Zags was handling the ball so much when they needed to give the rock to Suggs and let him handle the offense.

I think Suggs is gonna have an immediate, big impact in the league. If he winds up on the Wolves, they'll compete for a playoff spot next season, imo.

Replace Randle/Lavine/Booker with CP3.

Booker has had a terrific season yes, but he’s also been helped with having CP3 as lead guard. Lavine shouldn’t win it as he can’t even lead his team to the playoffs or a winning record. Randle has had a great season, but other players are more All NBA worthy. He should win MIP though.

That’s why I’ve been mentioning for a while now that a lot of players are going to point to their numbers being All NBA worthy when they can’t even lead their team above a .500 record.
