Except the Lakers have had the hardest schedule out of any team. Played the best team in the league last season record wise and 3rd best team in the West. I hope that feggit Adam Silver catches that Eazy-E if he hasn't already.

It's the pace, every team is averaging over 100 used possessions a game so far this year except for 3.

Last year only 5 teams total averaged over 100 a game. The highest was New Orleans at 101. Right now 19 teams are higher than that, Lakers and Kings are over 110.

It's not defense.

I'll even chalk up some to the new 14 second rule.

That's playing a big part too, a lot of squads would throw it straight back out for a 3 after an offensive board.

Now there is less time to reset the offense so more teams are doing that, or they keep taking the first open shot they can find.
