I got what he was saying but selfish wasn’t the right word

I only hear them talked about durning the game. I hear Kyrie on every talking head tv show outside of the one episode of skip and shannon after boston won the first game without kyrie.
I'm tired of the narrative the media creates. The Celtics should be talked about the same way the 04 Detroit Pistons were. No real Superstar (A lie) with possibly 4 unselfish stars who win by playing team ball. I love how this team is made up and how it plays together. The Kyrie slurping is getting old.
*edit* before the low level posting begins I'm not saying this team is as good as the 04 Pistons that won a championship. I'm saying they should be sold in the same way as the Pistons were. An exciting defensive team that plays as a unit. Not a one man show.
Depends on if the 3 pt shot will translate. Its a bit slow and unorthodox, but if it does, then Ben Simmons/JJJ pick n pop would look nasty and I couldn't even imagine the type of defense they would field with another agile rim protector![]()
Very complicated, but I get it. The Lakers don't seem bad enough to be a top 5 pick so that lowers the Celtics chance of getting it, but if they don't they'll get Sacramento's pick the following year which will probably be top 5.
Ainge put some work in for sure. If the Sixers can get that L.A. pick to be the #6 pick that could be the final piece they need.![]()
I made that exact comparison a few days ago.
This team went on a damn 18-0 run against the Warriors with Kyrie on the bench. Beat the Raptors and the Hornets with him out. They are a SOLID team.
Practically everyone playing lights-out defense.
Five different guys with 13-20 ppg, and two more with over 9 ppg.
Seven different players hitting 1-2 threes/game.
Five different guys with 5-8 rpg, six guys with over 1 offensive board/game.
Two guards and a forward in basically a three-way tie with 5 apg.
Not a single guy on the court more than 32 minutes/game
They don't have to rely on any one player for one thing. This is a all-out team effort right now.
I hope the 76ers really limit Embiid for his career. I think I would go 60 or so regular season games and then let him go in the playoffs.
