The draft not until the 21st

This finals series ending so early due to the sweep left us with a week before draft and 3 weeks untill July with nothing to hold us over

I know the nba is trying to squeeze every little dollar out but I still don't get the point of the award show after the season. Why not have the award show right before the playoffs.

I disagree. Teams are gearing up for the playoffs and I'm assuming the players on those teams want as much time as possible to prepare for their opponents and practice. So most players on the playoff teams probably ain't trying to add on a day of travel to attend the awards before the playoffs start. It's already hard enough to get players to attend as is now.

On a side note NBATV is so poorly run. The schedule listings are all fukked up. Half the time I try to DVR something a different program is showing or they are running gametime to talk about some news from the day. Now even going to the NBATV website to look for the schedule and they only have the current program showing and nothing else for the next couple of days. All I'm trying to do is record the Finals Film Room from game 4.

It’s certainly possible. Melo with the buyout makes sense but that’s a lot of money for a cheap owner. Maybe they space it out

This Finals Film Room where they got Isiah Thomas, John Salley and James Worthy discussing the 88 Finals is pretty dope. Funny hearing Worthy admitting how much better Magic made him. Saying that he thought he was a great player until Magic retired and he was playing with Nick Van Exel and he wasn't nearly as effective.

Stretching out Melo would make it worse. They're better off eating that penalty for one year rather than 4

Besides, Wade ain't leaving Miami, let alone just to be by Gabrielle's side after film shoots
