So there's no way OKC stays in the 7th seed because of tie breakers (once all games are played)? And Utah would have to throw tonight's game against GSW just to have a non-guaranteed chance of meeting them in the 1st round (as opposed to winning out to win the 3rd seed and potentially seeing them in the 2nd round instead)?

So basically it'll be NO, SA, Minny or Denver for either an anti-climatic or fukkery filled 2/7 matchup

Hayward coming back or something? Not sure how or why his absence factors in for this series if he's not going to be out there.

They kept the lead with Giannis at the 5 and they played pure 5 out basketball, Bledsoe caught an opp from Giannis with the lane wide open, it causes problem. Playing him at the 5 is something I would do now that Brogdon is back:hubie: I don't think the Celtics have the roster to punish the Bucks for doing it. If they don't do play him there it's yet another failure of coaching, it just makes sense to do it.

I just looked it up, he played center for roughly 2:30 and the Celtics outscored then 7-6 with a lineup of Jaylen Brown at point, Nader, Ojeleye, Morris & Horford :manny:

And just because it’s something you would do doesn’t mean it’s something they will. We’ve got a 4 game sample size showing it’s not an essential part of their gameplan.

Did they keep the lead or nah :hubie:

It hasn't been a part of their game plan because Parker was out then Brogdon was out, they haven't had the personnel to do it for most of the season. With all their guys back it's something they can do and should do.

the ether
The West being much greater and East being all time weak has been severely exaggerated....

Utah and Minnesota both had losing records against the East this year, despite winning 2/3 of their games against the West.

OKC and NO, for whatever reason, won 2/3 of their games against the East while only being barely over .500 against the West.

And Houston, Golden State, Portland, and San Antonio basically posted the same record against the East and West.

The conferences were even in the regular season this year.

All I know is their lead was smaller than it was in the beginning when they brought Henson back in :manny:

Playing Jason Terry has that effect, how much different will that lineup be with Brogdon in his place :sas2:

And how much different would it be when the Celtics lineup has Rozier & Tatum in instead of Nader & Ojeleye :sas1:
