Which is really what Steph is, an undersized SG

Seems like it. Earlier in his career in the Don Nelson/Mark Jackson era he played strictly PG which he can do but he's more effective as a hand cannon, catch and shoot scorer. Which can only take you so far when teams are gameplanning for you. The way that Klay and KD score, plus the fact that their 5 now has to be spoonfed on offense to be effective on the floor at all, he's now put in a position where his point guard instincts are mostly going to take over, because unlike before, he can probably turn the same contested 3 he had to shoot and make last year into a dribble pass to a different spot on the floor for an open 3/layup and/or lob if it's javale/zaza. Plus, like I said, he literally has a defender right in his face basically all game.

You guys make good points, I understand where you're coming from. But let's not forget it's only January and Steph and Klay always go through 'slumps' at some points of the season if you even call a 19 point performance last night a slump (yes it's against the Nuggets but 19 is 19)

He's also clearly deferring to his teammates. Steph has always been an unselfish player he's letting the whole crew eat.

He'll be back to feed the streets again

If it wasn't for Embiid, who was drafted in 2014, this would be the woat ROY season
The NBA is really deep. I been watching the D league and the NBA players are dominating that league. This is a talented rookie class but it's not Uber talented like 2015. These guys can play but the NBA is really deep right now. Everybody has players on the bench who they like a lot.

like i said before Hid scott herroin started emojiing..

he is having a weird season... if it wasnt for the team being revamped.. the narrative would be he is falling off..

but maybe for the first time in 3 years he is pacing himself for the play offs..

Yeah plus he's had like close to zero health issues from what I can remember this season. That's huge

Klay is streaky and goes through slumps.

Steph I cant really say that explanation works. I dont remember any extended slumps last year, plus we're 35 games in, nearly half the season. You cant really call that a slump, its just how Steph is gonna be from now on with Durant on the team :manny:

someone on twitter suggested a trade

Miami gets: Kris Dunn and a Minnesota's 2017 1st

Atlanta gets: Zach Lavine

Minnesota gets: Goran Dragic & Paul Milsap

I put that into the ESPN trade machine, and to matchup the salaries I had to add a couple pieces.

Miami gets: Kirs Dunn, Brandon Rush, Minnesota's 2017 1st rd pick

Atlanta gets: Zach Lavine, Ricky Rubio, & Pekovic

Minnesota gets: Paul Milsap, Goran Dragic, & Kyle Korver

not perfect, but no trade really is. I thought it was an interesting starting point tho.

There is no way this works financially for Minnesota but it works for Atlanta.

What were your expectations for the team coming into the season?

I thought we'd win between 35-40 games, miss the playoffs, but continue to develop the young talent.

I didn't expect this level of incompetence.

Had they hired a better coach, I don't think they'd be too far off my expectations.

there's no system in place, order, structure....none of that shyt.
I think Watson & PJ Tucker might be on some:wrist::wub: steeze.

Watson's in love with that dude.Contract year for Tucker---Wouldn't be surprised if PJ's debo'ing him

for playing time.

PJ's "hustle & defense" is overblown like a muthafukka. He had a good game against Anthony Davis

and now they're acting like he's a prime Dennis Rodman.3 years ago, PJ understood his role.He really was

a hustle player. At present, he's shot.Plus he tries to do too much on offense.Between him, Knight, Chandler,

Len, Barbosa, and at times Bleds...the Suns gotta have the lowest team IQ in the league.Especially PJ, Knight,

Len, and Barbosa. That's the pea-brained quartet.

if Minne gets Dragic and Milsap...that pick most likely wouldn't end up being a lottery pick. instead mid 1st rd somewhere

Thibs wants to make the playoffs this year I'm assuming. this would probably get them to that 8th seed at least
