I actually bet this game......It was appalling to me that the Magic were 4.5 point underdogs without Porzingis. I went ahead and took the Magic outright at +155 (actually moved from +170 as I was betting it)

Even coming into this game it was obvious that the Knicks just are too old to handle a front court of Gordon, Ibaka and Biyombo and don't have the depth to have to deal with someone like Vucevic (who can't play D) but can score at will against their bench. Then of course the Knicks have the ability to make Efird Peyton look good. The Knicks really should be shipping Melo and blowing it up.

They've been happening more often lately. He had 30 against Memphis last week. He's still only 21. I think he puts it together.

BTW WTF is going on with Mario Hedzonia? Who trades for him?

I was wondering the same thing while I was watching the Magic game, he's getting no burn this season at all, and it doesn't seem like they're trying to develop him either. Maybe a team can swoop in and buy low on him, he hasn't show much potential on D but I'd still roll the dice on him.

Funny how people specifically keyed in on Melo's defensive issues tonight:jbhmm:, but have been quiet when KP leaves stretch 4s at the 3pt line all night long. And the ENTIRE TEAM DEFENSE has been atrocious this season, not just Melo's. The whole team needs to be held accountable, as well as bum ass Kurt Rambis since he's suppose to be in charge of the Knicks defense.
problem is...KP defends the rim at an elite level
melo has no redeeming qualities when his shot is off

I'm fed up with Bledsoe.

He's been on some Westbrook shyt the whole year.

Thinking he can manipulate the game for stats, but he don't have talent to pull it off.

I've peeped his bullshyt.

Come out in the 1st Q, pass the ball around, get a few assist.

2nd, 3rd, and 4th Q-----Dribble dribble dribble, ISO ISO ISO, chuck chuck chuck.

Keeps throwing up 3's like Steph Curry even though he's only shooting 29% from that range.

Him and Brandon Knight have the same flaws.Tunnel vision.

Even when they're "on", it's to the detriment of the team.

It's all about scoring with them dudes. When they start feeling a lil confident, it's "I'm Michael Jordan"

"Let me get buckets and win this game by myself"

And them muthafukkaz just keep shooting and shooting and shooting and shooting....etc..etc

They don't understand that you can cook and still get your teammates involved.

In fact, it should be easier once you open up the defense like that.

Bring on Lonzo Ball, please! :hhh:

To be real with you the rest of the league figured him out. There's a guy breathing on Steph's neck at all times. And he's playing more PG, last year he was basically a SG, dray took the ball up, steph would run off screens and get 20+ off that alone. He also had the benefit of Bogut setting his screens and Bogut passing him the ball on cuts
Which is really what Steph is, an undersized SG

Eric Bledsoe basically dribbled the game away.

Took like 90% of the shots in 4th Q.

The Suns need to get rid of Knight, Tucker, Chandler, and Bledsoe.

Just blow that shyt all the way up
Eric literally has so much talent but he can't harness it to save his life.

Seems like it. Earlier in his career in the Don Nelson/Mark Jackson era he played strictly PG which he can do but he's more effective as a hand cannon, catch and shoot scorer. Which can only take you so far when teams are gameplanning for you. The way that Klay and KD score, plus the fact that their 5 now has to be spoonfed on offense to be effective on the floor at all, he's now put in a position where his point guard instincts are mostly going to take over, because unlike before, he can probably turn the same contested 3 he had to shoot and make last year into a dribble pass to a different spot on the floor for an open 3/layup and/or lob if it's javale/zaza. Plus, like I said, he literally has a defender right in his face basically all game.
