That's all there is to it? Because even when he wasn't in the best of shape last year, he didn't fit into the offense that well.
He's much much quicker this year and his shot is more consistent. He also does things he didn't do last year, mainly because he's in better shape, like he'll grab the board and push the break now sometimes, and on closeouts he's a lot quicker and will put the ball on the floor and go by his defender.

@The Dankster

Kyrie was close to being the best player in the game.... but oh wait, no! He had a -2 plus/minus! It doesn't matter he had a game-high 39 points with great efficiency. That means absolutely nothing. He obviously didn't play defense hard enough. He obviously didn't set his teammates up well enough. If he did these things, LeBron and Love could've easily replaced all his production. They need to trade him now!

:mjpls:

I'll be getting at you in that other thread a lil later on too.

Love says that this last week, he and the coaches decided to make an adjustment in approach where he's just letting the trigger fly on the catch-and-shoot and no longer second-guessing himself or seeing if there's something else he can do with the ball.

He's 19-29 on threes in 3 games since he supposedly made that adjustment. If that's really the key, and it isn't just a short-term streak on a confidence thing, teams are going to have to start staying in his face at all times off the ball like he's Klay Thompson or something.
