- Although it will only take one team to offer him a max contract, Hassan Whiteside‘s market value may have been overstated, Ira Winderman of the Sun Sentinel opines in his latest mailbag. Winderman points out that it seems the Heat are not fully committed to making Whiteside a focal point, citing the team’s reluctance to keep him in the game late in the fourth quarter.
Knicks pick this breh up and make him and Porzingis one of the best front courts in the NBA.

But on the real... Rose, Butler, ?, ?, Whiteside IS NICE and potentially the best team in the East next year.
But Whiteside needs to be in NY. Him and KP would PUT NY back on the map.
Whiteside‘s max is looking like 21.5 mill.

Is he really worth it considering what type of personnel Hoiberg needs for his system? Whiteside is one of the main reasons Miami are one of the slowest teams in the league.Bulls gonna have max space if they play their cards right

Did you see in my post where I said trade Lopez for a Servicable pg? 12 mill is cheap next year for a solid starting center who plays defense.
I could even see Spurs taking on Lopez's contract at 12 mill when Duncan retires and LMA needs box out help.

They don't. My point was Lopez has value...limited when looked at broadly but for the right team he is an asset.
