I don't know if I agree with this, seems to be a bit of a casual fan vote. He was pretty inconsistent for most of the season. Aside from two good months of scoring, he really didn't provide much else.

Yeah I feel like they do this shyt (well, similar) with all the awards. I kind of wish all these awards were thrown in the bushes anyway. :manny:

I don't mind the awards but what annoys me is that there's no consistency to what constitutes the winner of said award. The criteria changes practically every year based on whatever narrative the media builds around a player. MVP especially.

THE most pointless NBA award, it holds no value really, awards like coy or dpoy at least tell that you are the best at something, meanwhile 6th man, the best at coming off the bench to provide scoring??? and I noticed they always give the award to a playoff team. The award should sound this like "best playoff team off the bench scorer award"

Like no criteria for this award, hey look this guy is averaging around 15 points off the bench for a playoff team, just give him this meaningless award
