Aint it kinda misleading though. The efficiency is pure math, it doesn't account for game situation.

If Warriors are down 1 with no time left, shooting a 100% guaranteed 2-pt shot is more efficient than shooting 67% 3-pt shot from 28-50 feet out.

Unless I'm not getting it.

Think of it in these terms, if you take 52 shots and make every one of those 52 you'll end up with 104 points. If he makes the 35 like he has that'll lead to 105 points. Efficiency isn't what's best for one play but over time if you do the same action which will produce better results.
