Warriors get possessions like this in every single game they play. Never seen a player with more gravity than Curry

You can buy 2nd rounders during the draft, there are no moves for the Lakers to make, except maybe trying to get Ben McLemore.

There's that Lou Williams fellow that has no business on this team.

It is amazing, but he's hardly the only one. That is just poor defense where a guy who lost, likely the Warriors did a pick or someone slipped after looking like they were going to do a pick. They got some of the best off ball movement in the league, on par if not better than the Spurs 2014 run.

Other superstars do the same thing though:

Kobe pretty much played with constant double teams his entire career.

Happens to Westbrook too the moment it looks like he's about to drive or there's a driving lane

Bad boy pistons used to double Jordan before he even had the ball.

Big difference, look at how far Curry is from the basket.

They are devoting so much attention to him as soon as he crosses halfcourt, all the ones you posted were 3 line in.

He's floor spreader, so it makes sense he gets that attention from outside the arc. If Curry were to post up he wouldn't draw a double as that's not his game. There's plenty of players that gravitate the entire team's defense towards them, that was basically my point. I'm aware Curry frees up more space due to where he gets most of his attention from, but every single one of those players are helping teammates be wide open regardless.

Westbrook is the best playmaker in the league due to the attention he draws from the defense and the easy lobs and jumpers he creates for his teammates. Again, gravitating the team's defense is going to have the same result no matter where you do it as long as you find the open man.
