First of all you're a remedial ass nikka. Second of all, at no point did you ever argue that Shaq's ability to keep a man on him down low helped Wade out (on drives) - which is something that i) I wouldn't argue against ii) really doesn't mean shyt in the grand scheme of things. Third of all, that point was not what your argument was built on - you made it seem as though Shaq was the reason the Heat won a title. You know what's funny about Scalabrine bringing up the fact that Wade benefited from getting to the rim playing next to Shaq is this:

2005 playing next to Shaq - 9.9 free throw attempts in 38 minutes
2006 playing next to Shaq - 10.7 free throw attempts in 38 minutes
2007 without Shaq (both were injured at different times) - 10.5 free throw attempts in 38 minutes
2008 playing next to Shaq (who only played 33 games prior to being traded to Phoenix) - 9.2 free throw attempts in 38 minutes
2009 without Shaq - 9.8 free throw attempts in 38 minutes
2010 without Shaq - 9.1 free throw attempts without Shaq in 36 minutes

Scalabrine's point about Wade going to the basket "over and over and over again" because big men wouldn't leave Shaq unguarded, as it wasn't the same as when Zo was on the floor is fundamentally wrong. Wade got to the basket at relatively the same rate playing with Joel Anthony and Jermaine O'Neal, as he did playing with Shaq.

The most telling stat of all this was during the 2006 Finals when Wade averaged 16 free throws a game - where he averaged EIGHT more minutes than Shaq did. Game 6 he had 21 free throw attempts and was getting to the rim at will over the course of 45 minutes (averaging 34 points a game) - Shaq only played 30 minutes that game and only averaged 13 points a game.

Are you really going to suggest that the ability of one of the greatest drivers and finishers in the history of the game was down to [and I quote from Scalabrine], Shaq who was a "fraction of who he was in Miami", with all the evidence pointing to the contrary?

Wade was by far the #1 reason the Heat won a title in 2006 - anything else is revisionism.

First of all, you're an angry closeted homo who has issues discussing basketball in a civil manner. Second of all, yes the fukk I did say that Shaq commanded defensive attention that opened things up for Wade. So you're responding with a lie already. You're only focusing on Wade here, there's a thing called offensive rebounds. When the number of offensive rebounds increases for a team, they're usually the team that wins. If you leave Shaq to close out on Wade, then Shaq can mosey on over to the hoop and get that offensive rebound.

You can talk about Wade getting to the rim all you want, but he wasn't winning shyt without Shaq or Lebron. This is a team sport, not a "Let's see how often Wade can get free throws" competition.

And yes, I think Scalabrine's take holds more weight than some angry ass dude on a message board's:ld:

Show me where in the conversation we had, where you mentioned Wade benefited from driving to the rim over and over again (playing next to Shaq), and not with other players. Of course Shaq commanded defensive attention, which helped Wade to some degree - yet Wade still had no problem putting up the same amount of points and on the same efficiency without Shaq.

2007 - 27 ppg on 49%
2009 - 30 ppg on 49% (his best career-season was without Shaq)
2010 - 26 ppg on 49%

You're only focusing on Wade here, there's a thing called offensive rebounds. When the number of offensive rebounds increases for a team, they're usually the team that wins. If you leave Shaq to close out on Wade, then Shaq can mosey on over to the hoop and get that offensive rebound.
WHAT THE fukk DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH WHAT SCALABRINE SAID?

You referenced a point of Scalabrine's about how Wade benefitted from getting to the rim "over and over and over again" playing next to Shaq (as his man wouldn't leave him) - I gave you Wade's free throw attempts with and without Shaq as evidence to show you he still could get to the rim at relatively the same rate playing WITHOUT him. That makes Scalabrine's point null and void. Wade didn't rely on getting to the rim through the presence of Shaq. If that were true, he wouldn't have the same amount of free throw attempts when he didn't play with him. The Heat as a team relied upon Shaq giving them frontcourt scoring, Wade didn't rely upon Shaq to get to the rim. He was getting to the rim with or without Shaq - whenever the fukk he wanted to.

If this comes down to who was more important in Miami winning a ring in 2006 - the answer is Wade, and it's not even close. Wade was the #1 option AND ran the offense in 2006; Shaq was his sidekick. Wade averaged 34 points in the Fiinals - Shaq averaged 13 points. How the fukk can you not comprehend something as basic as this?
And yes, I think Scalabrine's take holds more weight than some angry ass dude on a message board's:ld:
I bet Scalabrine would be the first one to tell you that Wade was the most important piece on the '06 title team. I also bet that if I showed him Wade's FTAs with and without Shaq he would probably reword what he said in a different manner.

i will say it again... they need to sit curry a couple of weeks... if not a month.

i know it will take away his mvp chances but leg injury doesnt get better as you play... they evolve into other form of injuries since you will subconsciously shift balance to protect the injured leg..
