Even as a Celtic fan, I just don't see it. At best I see 45 wins. Not buying into the 50 win projections and especially not a 60 win one.

That Atlanta team had more talent.

Millsap, Teague & Horford by themselves are easily better than anyone on this roster

Right. I get them improving. Not to mention a floor spacer like kyle korver, they then just casually throw in hunter like .. :what:

They won 45 with Anthony Davis missing 14 games, Holiday missing half the season, and Gordon & Anderson both missing 20+
They won 45 games last season. If they didn't have all those injuries, it's certainly not out of the realm of possibility they could've won FIVE more. You dumb fukk.
Didn't even see this before I posted. :wow:

They were lucky to make it last year.

Massively overachieved and haven't improved all that much this offseason compared to a lot of the East.

Yea Stevens did wonder with that roster and caught a lot of teams off guard last year. They just ran all the time. But I think a lot of teams will be ready for them. And you can't win shyt with Isiah Thomas as your best player and no big man. Ainge needs to go. They have 20 guards on this team and he picked Rozier over Dekker, Portis, and Jefferson. Absolutely clueless

Danny Ainge still waiting for some team to hand him a star for his 'assets'

He gets points for the Brad Stevens hire tho

In his defense he tried to trade for Frank, who would've been perfect for what they run (Slice is piff offense)

But that package was shyt and now he gotta wait another year. Don't know if Brad is gonna stick it out though.

They were not trading up for Kaminsky, Ainge was going after Winslow

I'm pretty sure Ainge is aware that the Celtics aren't winning a title with Isaiah Thomas as the leading scorer

And actually it's quite the opposite, we have a logjam of bigs not guards.

I find it funny how the vast majority of the Coli says the Nets & Mavs will not make the playoffs this year, the Celtics own both of their 1st round picks (top 7 protected for the Mavs) and yet y'all turn around and say those picks have no value :heh:

They only have but so much value.

Who are these teams trying to blow it up to where they're willing to bet it all on a weak draft?

Who are these teams projected to pick high that will be willing to move down?

Those picks as picks >>>> those picks as assets to cash in for a sure thing.

Like I keep saying, Boston is Phoenix East
