The problem is how he fits in the future plans, he cannot shoot at all and he's coming from a place where improvement is unlikely. He's a 25% shooter in his first two years, when someone is that bad at shooting they rarely improve to the point you can say they're average, he's going to stay a bad shooter more than likely, especially since he's already 23 years old.

Your squad tried to trade him for a reason, he's not the PG you're going to be seeing on that team 2-3 years from now. Ask yourself how does he fit in with Embiid, Nerlens and Saric if none of those guys are shooters either...

He has the potential to be a plus defender with elite size and playmaking skills. Embiid can shoot . Noel may not even be a starter and Saric may not be either. We have yet to even fill our roster as we have another draft this year to add shooters and scorers on the wings and even the frontcourt so I can't speak on what the future is just yet. There's been many PG's who couldn't shoot worth a damn but were pretty effective.

But hey I don't wanna keep sounding like I'm dikk riding MCW so I'ma stop here :snoop:

obviously they certainly need more shooters, but could MCW be successful with more offensive talent around him to facilitate to?

All u gotta see is that since we got Robert Covington, a legit shooter we've won 5 games, and we're 5-14 since Thanksgiving. :manny: Get some more shooters and he'll get even better.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?

His defense won't be enough to offset the spacing issues that will come about, and Embiid may be able to shoot but why do you want his offense to be pick and pops? Just sharing the frontcourt with Nerlens is going to be difficult as it is for Embiid, add in a PG that cannot shoot and it's going to be a nightmare for him on the low block.

All those PGs that couldn't shoot, how many of them played with low post scorers? Just look at the Pistons for an example of how important spacing is.

If Embiid turns out to be the real deal on the low post the last thing you want is a ball dominant PG that can't really score efficiently. The modern NBA is all about pace and space, if Embiid is for real you're going to need shooters at 3 of the 4 other positions to give him the space he needs to operate. You don't pair anemic offensive PGs up with low post scorers, it just doesn't work in the end.
