That spin move by Wall.
that was nice as hell. i started crackin up when someone yelled "shyt on him!" even before he jumped for it
That spin move by Wall.
my opinion hasnt change of him. i think hes just another young big slab of clay that will need an expert sculptor to turn into something above average. hes goofy, has terrible hands and no discernible moves offensively. hes pretty quick and athletic so hes okay in transition but i can only imagine how bad he'd be in a slower offense. he has decent size but doesnt seem to be very strong..ive seen him moved out of position on the block more than he should be
His last 5 games -
10ppg, 8rpg, 3bpg in 23mpg
Those numbers are against Tyson Chandler, Big Al and Gortat and most importantly the Suns are 5-1 since putting him in as the starter. His impact on defense can't be ignored, the Suns are playing much better now that he's on the floor instead of Plumlee and their defense has improved a lot. Prior to him being the starter, the Suns had given up 100+ pts in 6 of the 7 games this month without him as the starter, since they put him in they've held teams under 100 pts 3 times in those 6 games.
Not every young center is going to be some offensive monster or even projects as one, and truth be told I think he'll be a solid scorer eventually, he showed some nice post moves at Maryland but that's going to take added weight.
i mean..i suppose. thats a good little run and maybe hes just better suited as a starter than off the bench with less weapons around him..plus the suns offense with IT/GG is a whole lot of ISO. i still need him to show me more than that though..gortat isnt as good defensively as he was and big al has never really been considered a good defender although he has improved the last few years. too small of a sample size..many bigs over the years have had good stretches early in the league then ultimately flamed out or plateaued.
suns just needed more height period. plumlee and the morris twins all in the lineup was just too small. len helps as a big body to clog the lane a little better but i dont think he specifically improved the suns any more than 50 other similarly sized bigs would have
Embrace him @VMR. He's here to stay
He's had good games before this stretch though, and realistically it isn't the case of needing more height, because Plumlee actually has a lower opponent FG% at the rim than Len, the difference is Len isn't challenged at the rim as often because the threat of the block is there. He rotates around the lane better than Plumlee, and the size stuff is overstated because Plumlee is 6'11.75" in shoes, he's not some small dude.
Len has looked good and is only going to improve, has the potential to be an elite shot blocker. The only other young center comparable to him is Gobert, who has elite defender written all over him and a lot of the negatives you said about Len can be said about Gobert, but the Stifle tower is for real as well.
Even @Malta dapped that shyt (he didn't see what I did there), C'mon now, there's no way he's as garbage as McCarty was. I ain't hearing that.i refuse
havent hated a celtic player this much other than mccarty and blount. even raef lafrentz was more likeable
i dont think len has looked even as close as impressive as gobert but we can agree to disagree
