They've basically been the same player, hell Len has more double doubles than Gobert and their numbers as starters are virtually identical. I'm not sure how you can say one has been much more impressive than the other, Gobert has been better but they project out similar, Len actually has more offensive potential.

sure the stats are similar but in terms of physical ability and potential i really dont think len has showed the growth potential that gobert has

He's had good games before this stretch though, and realistically it isn't the case of needing more height, because Plumlee actually has a lower opponent FG% at the rim than Len, the difference is Len isn't challenged at the rim as often because the threat of the block is there. He rotates around the lane better than Plumlee, and the size stuff is overstated because Plumlee is 6'11.75" in shoes, he's not some small dude.

Len has looked good and is only going to improve, has the potential to be an elite shot blocker. The only other young center comparable to him is Gobert, who has elite defender written all over him and a lot of the negatives you said about Len can be said about Gobert, but the Stifle tower is for real as well.

The Empire State
my opinion hasnt changed of him. i think hes just another young big slab of clay that will need an expert sculptor to turn into something above average. hes goofy, has terrible hands and no discernible moves offensively. hes pretty quick and athletic so hes okay in transition but i can only imagine how bad he'd be in a slower offense. he has decent size but doesnt seem to be very strong..ive seen him moved out of position on the block more than he should be
The Cavs will take him in a heartbeat. You really don't need some post god at the Center spot. You need long, athletic centers that can rotate on the pnr, block/alter shots at the rim, and have decent hands to catch alley oops when diving to the rim on the pnr.

Optimistic But I Got Hands Tho
@jaguar paw has your opinion of Alex Len changed? :lupe:

He looks like a legitimate starting center.....if he can stay healthy :whoa:

I never thought he was going to be a bad player I just was worried about them feets.

Hes baby Big Z just more athletic. Phoenix or Cleveland were the ideal situations for him off the medical treatment alone.

Besides that Thunder game, Kemba has been ballin ever since Not Ready has been out. With Henderson stretching the floor and folding out off those pindowns, he's got a ton more room to operate in.
