There's no way you can tell me that Brandan Wright, Raymond Felton and the 22nd pick is fair value for Rondo, whether you like him or not. It's awful. That's a lowball offer. Ainge doesn't like to lose players for nothing but he also doesn't like to lose trades. There's no way you can spin that into anything other than an L for Boston
Exactly. That news had to be released by ainge to drive up the offers from other teams. How anybody can sit there and justify that offer as fair to both team is crazy to me.

It's not, but at the end of the day that's better than nothing at all, especially the pick. I mean you got Sullinger with the 21st pick :yeshrug:

Outside of getting his blessing to go to some shytty teams/cities how else are they going to get fair value? The Pistons and Kings could offer great value, but he's already shot the Kings down.

It strike me odd that a person from Louisville Kentucky can really complain about getting trading to a shytty location.

Rondo shouldn't blank once about playing with Anthony Davis down in new orleans

not really he's the second best player in nba history behind jordan

:whoa:

He's top 10 all-time, but he's not number 2, Cap has more of claim to that than Timmy (PBUH).

Think they're happy with Holiday and he cost them 2 top 10 picks, unless they can get Green and Rondo....

Sullinger was an anomaly, he was a top 10 talent that got red-flagged and dropped. That's not something that happens every year. And the ironic thing is, Sullinger was used with our pick. The pick used on Fab Melo was actually the pick we got in a trade.

Who cares about his blessing? fukk him. If a team is willing to trade without a guarantee he'll re-sign then pull the trigger. That'll be their problem, not ours.

As I've said before, I don't subscribe to the notion that getting scraps is better than getting nothing. It's the same shyt to me. You don't make trades that you blatantly lose and stand to minimally benefit from.

But whatever, I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree.

That's not how it works fam, teams don't say "fukk it" unless they're contenders and can convince the player to stay via winning. Teams are shook to trade for guys in the final year of their deals, especially with Dwight Howard leaving LA fresh on memories.

Also, you can find a gem at 21-22, just look at these names -

Gorgui Dieng
Mason Plumlee
Nikola Mirotic (23rd)
Rudy Gobert (27th)
Sully
Kenneth Faried
Ryan Anderson
Courtney Lee
Serge Ibaka (24th)
Rajon Rondo :mjpls:
Kyle Lowry (24th)
Nicolas Batum (25th)

Are there misses? of course, but there are some absolute grand slams and a surprising amount of rotational players and starters that can be got at 20-25.
