It's stuff like the above chart that makes me feel the grizz not having some grand wing player that can 'create off the dribble' is a bit overstated/overrated. That's not how san antonio won. They did it off swift ball movement that resulted in ridiculous 3 pt shooting.. and those sequences often came from tony parker pick and rolls that forced switches.. or defensive stops that led to transition offense.

PnR Conley, slim-gasol and paid-zbo are enough of a primary offensive threat and vince carter, lee, and pointdexter are good enough spot up shooters/drive and kick guys that memphis can score enough on offense to support their elite defense. When it comes down to them or the spurs, warriors, mavs, healthy OKC.. it'll end up being about bball IQ and coaching, as all those teams could give the other that work if the other doesn't come correct.

Nah, he was happy to have him. :mjpls:
:whoa:

Check the receipts. I was only cool with Lance after we struck out on Hayward AND because we signed him to a moderately low deal considering what he could've got.

I still don't think this is all on Lance. I'm more pissed at Clifford for failing at his job in simply not having the team prepared to play in any aspect. We look like Summer League out there:damn:

I still think Memphis should grab Ray Allen

Ray ain't going to Memphis. He damn near had an anxiety attack when the Celtics almost traded him there back in 2012. They offered him a contract in FA the following offseason too and Ray gave them the :rudy:

If Ray plays this year it'll be for either Cleveland or Washington most likely

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Lance getting shopped already :dead:

Has any team failed in the draft more than Charlotte? They're looking for a wing and a PF, yet these are the players they've taken the last couple years -

Biyombo & Kemba over Klay Thompson, Alec Burks, Kawhi, Markieff, Tobias Harris, Vuccicmane, Jimmy Butler, Mirotic
Zeller over Giannis
MKG over Beal, Lillard, Drummond.

I mean, what the fukk is going on over in their scouting department? I didn't even put Vonleh up because they don't play him but that's 3 PF's they've taken in the last 3 years, yet they're trying to trade for one?

There's missing in the draft, but what the Hornets have done is unbelievable, Kemba is just :ld: at best and there were several players drafted after him that are better. How can 1 team completely whiff like this in the draft :ld:

i) It's only been 14 games
ii) When he's averaged 30+ minutes in his career his FG% drops down to 43% over the course of a season
iii) It's Courtney Lee

That's not how san antonio won. They did it off swift ball movement that resulted in ridiculous 3 pt shooting.. and those sequences often came from tony parker pick and rolls that forced switches.. or defensive stops that led to transition offense.
SA won because they have TWO perimeter stars that can create off the dribble in any situation - in which they could run the offense from. Memphis have one.

PnR Conley, slim-gasol and paid-zbo are enough of a primary offensive threat and vince carter, lee, and pointdexter are good enough spot up shooters/drive and kick guys that memphis can score enough on offense to support their elite defense..
They're simply not. That is why this 'create off the dribble' line is not overstated/overrated. We've seen why they fail to get over that same wall they run into every playoffs.

When it comes down to them or the spurs, warriors, mavs, healthy OKC.. it'll end up being about bball IQ and coaching, as all those teams could give the other that work if the other doesn't come correct.
Partly true, but youth, talent and hunger will be the ultimate factors that decide who comes outta the West this postseason.

The worst part about that is if he's traded to another team that can afford to play him he'll put up numbers. If they send him back to the Kings and play him next to Boogie he'll flourish, since all they would need is for him to rebound & defend :dead:

But, on a team with almost no offensive weapons & zero shooting you straight up cant play him.
