I'll believe it when I see it, this is the first time you're paying the luxury.

And there are two scenarios here -

1. He gets a big offer and accepts, you will be paying the repeaters tax when it does kick in since you're going to be over the luxury next season, when it kicks in that would make 3 years over luxury.

2. He waits till the new TV deal and then gets an even bigger offer :ld:

I don't put anything passed Presti, to say what he will and won't do is straight :whoa:

you say that like many teams have payed the luxary breh. I don't know if you realize but EVERY team has avoided the repeaters tax except Brooklyn

That's mostly because it's new :ld:

You have 3 guys that are going to get those new TV deal maxes that are like $30-40 million a season, if Enes opts to wait for the new TV deal money he's gonna be a 18-20 million a year guy under it. So even with the new cap being higher yall are gonna bump into the luxury on it really quick.

The Cavs are going to end up paying the tax in the future as well :yeshrug:

I Know man.

After the Harden fiasco, i don't think he does it again if Kanter plays like this until the end of the season. He would never live it down, he probably thinks every night about the Harden trade.

Bennett and Presti would be destroyed publicly by all if it happened again.

I don't think people are really noticing what the Sixers are doing, they are loading up on shooters and seem to be developing guys into shooters (Jerami Grant can now hit the 3). I think a lot of people get caught up on talent and not how players fit in systems, Canaan can shoot the 3, MCW couldn't......

Everything they're doing is leading to surrounding Embiid with shooters, if they can land Russell in the draft they are going to be a major problem in the future provided Joel stays healthy :lupe:
