What Im saying that wrong?
et the best
People were talking about how horrible Mark Jackson was until he got to the second round of the playoffs.

Same thing with Spo and Doc Rivers.

There is no wide degree of ability from the best coach to the worst coach in the league.

If you watch a NBA and blame the coach for the outcome. You're a fool

If coaching was only about timeouts anybody could do it.

It's about development, managing rotations, managing minutes, managing egos, running plays, and using the strengths of your players to get the best result possible among other things.

Jackson did get his team to the second round, but his overuse of Curry in the first round cost him against the Spurs. Curry had nothing left against San Antonio. That's why Pop is sitting Duncan, Parker, and Manu in December and they still have fresh legs in the NBA Finals.

:what:

I've never heard anybody say Doc Rivers was a bad coach. During his time in Orlando he was praised heavily for nearly leading a team fo nobodies into the playoffs. Doc was always viewed as a great coach who simply never had good enough players.

In regards to Spo, a lot of the "He's a bad coach" sentiment came directly from Heat fans before Lebron and Bosh even got there. Once Lebron and Bosh signed people were ready to throw Spo under the bus the moment there was any trouble.

Doc was not always viewed as a great coach, not a chance

What Im saying is that there is not much that separates the best coach from the worst in the League.

You are playing the results with Marc Jackson in the playoffs last year.

How do you overuse your best player when you pull off an upset in the 1st round.
They lost to Spurs because the Spurs were the better team.

wasn't great until he started winning something
There is truth to this.

Boston fans and specifically that bill simmons guy consistently shytted on doc rivers coaching even during the celtics '08 championship season. Them boys won 60+ regular season games but even durin all that dude was frontin like the newly formed big 3 were winning all those games DESPITE doc rivers and that doc was only good at making scripted "emotional" speeches when he knew cameras were on their huddles durin telecast games. :dead:

In fact, back in 2011, some of the Spoelstra shyt that went on during his first year with the big 3 reminded me alot of the doc rivers stuff (i.e. figured they'd shyt on him whenever possible and say the team was winning in spite of him, but i always felt they'd hop on his bandwagon once miami inevitably won with him).. though it ended up draggin on far worse in his case b/c miami didn't breeze thru the regular season that year and ended their first finals trip in embarrassment.

Korv don't start that bull, Spo is better than Lionell Hollins and a top 5 coach in the L
Lionel Hollins is a good coach.

He led his team to the most wins in Franchise history.

He should of got a contract extension.

Same with Vinnie
