NEW YORK, April 17, 2014 – The Miami Heat’s LeBron James once again tops the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) list of most popular jerseys, where he has reigned as No. 1 since winning his second NBA title. The two-time NBA Finals MVP, who has held the top position six times, is joined by nine players that will compete in the 2014 NBA Playoffs beginning on April 19. The rankings are based on overall retail sales on NBAStore.com since the beginning of the 2013-14 season.

Rounding out the top five are the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Kevin Durant (No. 2), the Los Angeles Lakers’ Kobe Bryant (No. 3), the Chicago Bulls’ Derrick Rose (No. 4) and the Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry (No. 5).

Since winning back-to-back championships in 2013, the Heat has held the top spot for best-selling team merchandise, followed by the Lakers at No. 2, the Bulls at No. 3, the Thunder at No. 4 and the Knicks at No. 5.

Additional highlights:
• The San Antonio Spurs’ Tim Duncan (No. 14) makes his return to the list for the first time since 2007.
• Curry continues to climb the list, moving up one spot from his debut position in 2013.
• Durant jumps two spots from the latest list (Dec.) to No. 2, bumping both Bryant and Rose down one position.

This year marks the seventh consecutive season that adidas has served as the official oncourt uniform and apparel provider of the NBA.

MIAMI (AP) — LeBron James’ jersey remains the most popular in the NBA.

The league announced Thursday that the Miami Heat star topped the list of jersey sales in the NBA for the sixth time. With teammate Dwyane Wade — whose jersey number hasn’t changed in 11 years — at No. 7, the Heat also had the top spot on the team-merchandise sales list.

“It means a lot to know that I have so many fans that want to wear my jersey because they respect the way I play the game and respect who I am as a man,” James said. “Thanks so much to all that ‘Strive for Greatness.’”

Kevin Durant of Oklahoma City is No. 2 on the list, followed by the Los Angeles Lakers’ Kobe Bryant, Chicago’s Derrick Rose, Golden State’s Stephen Curry and New York’s Carmelo Anthony.

Wade was next, followed by Chris Paul of the Los Angeles Clippers, Cleveland’s Kyrie Irving, Houston’s James Harden, the Clippers’ Blake Griffin, Oklahoma City’s Russell Westbrook, Boston’s Rajon Rondo, San Antonio’s Tim Duncan and Indiana’s Paul George.

It was Duncan’s first appearance on the season-ending list since 2007.

Following the two-time defending champion Heat on the team-merchandise sales list were the Lakers, Bulls, Thunder and Knicks.

The NBA based the rankings on overall retail sales on NBAStore.com since the start of the season. The league’s playoffs begin Saturday.

I personally think they should trade Larry Sanders. The Greek and Henson are cool. I am willing to bet they get the first pick and take Embiid.
Don't be so sure.

Word is they're pretty much convinced they want Wiggins and would only take Embiid if someone took Sanders which is highly unlikely.

Utah at 4 assuming the order stays this way is a prime trade candidate. None of the players there at 4 make much sense without possibly reaching.

Philly's probably gonna drop to 4 which makes it all moot, but Utah's screwed in the position they're in
