My goal for 2025 is being active every day for at least 40 mins and a minimum of 4x a week in the gym (2 upper days, 2 lower days).

I went for a run yesterday and I should be in the gym today but we got a soccer game after work and we got the field for a full two hours :wow:

I don’t want to but I gotta skip this gym day.

At least I’m getting active which is the bigger point to be honest. Showing up for yourself every single day and building that identity as a fit person.

I pity folks that don’t like playing sports. Easily the most enjoyable form of exercise.

Bro it’s crazy how you could work out three times a week an entire year to take a two week hiatus for holidays to eat and drink whatever to be humbled once you back in the gym :gucci:

I feel like the fattest out of shape mf in the world. The sets I could do with a breeze kicked my ass
Mmhmm I feel you.

My burpees and box jumps are embarrassing.
It sucks. I think they say 3 weeks of no exercise/strength training sets you back months. You literally can’t stop moving or you lose stamina and gains :aicmon:

Yea, I’m very glad I’m doing the morning workouts now. I feel so much more accomplished even before work starts.

Woke up this morning, said my morning prayers then hit the gym. Even better was I didn’t feel rushed in my workouts.

7am PST and I’ve already gotten a good leg day in. Long may this consistency continue.

All my excess holiday bloat is pretty much gone. Now I have 11 weeks before my end of Q1’25 holiday. We locked in.

Cardio capacity goes first then strength.

Cardio capacity comes back first, then strength

A lot of new personalities at my gym this month. It's nice to see so many people up and getting it in the early morning despite the cold. I know most people prefer an empty gym, but I like when it's buzzling so long as I don't have to wait for equipment. Especially seeing the same faces, sort of feels like we're on a collective journey.

Honestly the best way to do it.

7:20 am PST and I just wrapped up my upper body day. I’ll be at work in an hour knowing I’ve already shown up for my self.

4am wake up, morning prayers and devotion then the gym. This is the standard moving forward
