Had done 3 sets with forearm/bicep as secondary muscle (1 pull up, 1 chin up, 1 machine row). Wasn't really feeling much in my forearms yet. Slapped the Fat Gripz on the machine and did 2 sets of rows with a bit lighter weight then normal. Hopped over and slapped them on some dumbells and did 1 set of hammer curls. Forearms on fire
Probably not something needed if you do heavy deadlifts often or a ton of sets of bicep curls/shrugs/farmers walks/whatever, but for me and my express routines they are going to be just what I need. I will say though that they made the rowing machine useless for back, I had to drop the weight to the point where I would normally be able to do 20-25 reps without them. But I didn't get them to improve my back workout obviously.

I read this article that cardio makes you gain weight.They said that long slow jogs make you body want to store fat instead of burn it, and that the fat burning zone was a myth. I have been doing some mild jogging, (5.7 MPH for 4 miles two days ago) so last night, I thought I would just push myself and set it at 7 MPH. For 0.5 miles, I ran it at 6.5 MPH. Cardio-wise, it was difficult and I was sweating like a hog. I'm thinking I need to stop jogging it at a mild pace.

Signed up for a 5K at the end of May and going to sign up for Spartan Race in August and maybe more runs as they come along. Going start working on my cardio and endurance this week.![]()

We get in there and she starts off doing her thing while I'm doing chest..no air head-ness as far as acclimating herself to the gym. She's doing a lil bit of everything since she's considering a new gym. She knows her shyt.
I did spot for squats and...well if she didn't know i liked her she does nowshyt she even had me get behind her for seated rows...:totheeastside: /
Plus I thought working out for 2 hours would have been a problem for her...it wasn't
