Got a good 40 miles in on the bike today. Usually 20 but I see thanksgiving on the horizon and wanted to kick up a bit.

I'm reducing my daily cardio to just Thursdays through Sunday's starting next week. Now that I'm lifting heavier and lost weight I don't feel I'll need as much to keep burning fat.

Did Romanian deads with 405 yesterday. It def taxes the core more than the full deadlift and obviously the grip too.

Upscale gyms can be straight up :scusthov: at times. Met a buddy at a "Nicer lifetime fitness" for a lift this afternoon. Man their Locker room and especially bathroom area smelled like a project hallway.

Nice facility otherwise but damn.
That cant be upscale.
Upscale gyms are nice as fukk if you can afford them (in Chicago I think they run $100/mo).
Big ass basketball courts...locker room attendants, Child Care, Saunas, etc...

They become places where you just hang out.

It's definitely an upscale spot aesthetically

They've got several lobbies with TV's and direct tv on deck with plush couches

They have an executive locker room as well as a regular one plus all the stuff you mentioned. They've got a salon, cafe, chiropractor services all the bells and whistles, fancy lobby, employees dressed in suits etc but for some reason they neglected that locker room area. It isn't the first time I've been to one where they neglect their locker rooms either, it's kinda shocking. Maybe it's just a Minnesota thing, I can't imagine this would fly in Chicago.
