Folks get aggy when I tell them I don't lift for hypertrophy (it's true); I focus on getting these numbers up. :umad: Meanwhile, they're focused on hypertrophy while having poor exercise selection and not eating enough to support growth and then don't understand why they're weak and small. :mjlol:
If you don't lift for hypertrophy why are you giving advice about how to get bigger legs?

You won't find a single IFBB pro who has conventional squats in their prep or offseason routines. It's inefficient for quad/ham growth. You and @Serious telling people to just do squats to get big legs is some shyt I'd expect to hear 15-20 years ago on misc. :snoop:

You won't find a single IFBB pro who has conventional squats in their prep routine. It's inefficient for quad/ham growth. You and @Serious telling people to just do squats to get big legs is some shyt I'd expect to hear 15-20 years ago on misc. :snoop:
Im not a bodybuilder.

I’m a power / strength lifter.

Strength and power >> aesthetics.

The upside is that I still look symmetrical and built.

I’d rather be strong than “look” strong.

I gotcha. But that doesn't address what you said about skinny legs and efficiency. Squatting 3x/week is not the most efficient way to get bigger legs. That's hypertrophy, not strength. If you want to get bigger legs, what I mentioned is much more efficient and targeted towards leg growth than conventional squats. I say this as someone who as run powerlifting programs like nsuns, gzclp. uhf, sbs for years.

You don't know the difference btw hypertrophy training and strength training. Literally the most elementary shyt that even Sam Sulek's glue sniffing followers understand. Hang yourself from the power squat, dumb nikka.
