@Son Goku you not going  this post :dahell:

This is the biggest form of 🧢 ever.

I used think my legs were hard gainers and forever until I started squatting heavy and frequently( at least 3x a week)

If you’re a grown man that ain’t squatting at least 3 plates atg, I don’t want to hear ish about genetically having skinny legs.

My quads started popping like crazy once I started squatting frequently and heavy.

The truth is most people workout in a very redundant and inefficient way.

Sure they benefit from exercise by purely being active. However they’re never able to push their body to its true potential because they lift inefficiently.
I don’t think you get what I’m saying. Some people have naturally thin legs and can squat three plates. They legs may only get tone and stronger but not size.

I agree with @Serious. Sounds like they arent squating with the right amount of weight and/or frequency.
People will do everything to justify not putting in the hard work....

:mjlol: 99% of people in the gym aint even squatting 3 plates, nor are they doing it 3x a week.

@Trust Me I did everything frequently prior squatting heavy to get legs bigger. Nothing worked.

And you know what did? Squatting 3x a week.

If you want to maximize quad growth, I’d argue belt squats/pendulum squats, leg presses (proper machines), smith machine front squats, hack squats are better for quad hypertrophy than regular squats. If I want to tax my quads/legs solely, I’m going to take the spine and erectors out of the equation which those exercises do for the most part. A lot of people reach “failure” on squats not because their legs have out but bc their back and erectors are not strong enough.

From the few posts I've seen of yours in here, you ain't really a stepper like that. :francis: I'd argue if folks lifted more like me and @Serious, they wouldn't have to focus on what "maximizes growth" on this muscle group or that because it'd just happen. :manny:

It's also noteworthy that you picked almost all hoe exercises for quad growth and excluded things like Bulgarian split squats, walking lunges, reverse lunges, and front squats, which are also probably better for quad growth than squatting on a Smiff machine. Like @Serious said, if you're not squatting at least 3 plates you don't need to major in the minors; just go lift heavy barbells, weak bytch. :hhh:

Folks get aggy when I tell them I don't lift for hypertrophy (it's true); I focus on getting these numbers up. :umad: Meanwhile, they're focused on hypertrophy while having poor exercise selection and not eating enough to support growth and then don't understand why they're weak and small. :mjlol:

Brehs I been ravenous the past few weeks. Is there an appetite suppressant yall recommend? I been drinking a ton of water but thats not working and I don't drink coffee

:picard:

Not sure why you'd want to suppress your appetite unless you're a Fat who can't control himself at the dinner table, but a combination of that #POWDA! (aka preworkout with caffeine in it) + heavy lifting + intraworkout with BCAAs and carbs suppresses the fukk outta my shyt, I usually can't stand to eat for at least two hours after I get home.

It's not unusual for my blood sugar to then drop and have me on the floor crawling to the kitchen on some
Rick James Linguini Legs on Make a GIF

shyt to get food before I pass tf out. :banderas: YMMV. :heh:

Facts.

When I first started lifting I ran StrongLifts5x5 and I actually put on beef all over, including my legs, and it was the first time folks ever called me swole. (I put on 14 keys of mass via noob gains.)
You know what SL5x5 has you do? Squat heavy 3x a week minimum. :lolbron:

Later on, I squatted heavy singles, dubs, and triples six to ten times a week for two and half months and had to buy bigger underwear before I had finished cause my quads were too big for the leg holes in my old drawers. :whoo: :dame:
