He walked up with his belt on and an “I’m about to fukk shut up” attitude. I’m taking my time and picking stuff up off the area around the platform because people….what I had on the bar was clearly someone working. He asks someone else and they point to me. Then he asks me if I’m working. Yep. He hangs out and waits for the other platform to clear. By the time he hit top sets I was still warming upI want to say 99% of the people on the platform are doing shyt that isn’t even my warmup.
You’d be surprised how many times I see people load up the bar with those 10 pound plates and act like they’re doing something
And it men be grown men too
Sometimes I be thinking I’m going to hard for no reason but then I check the fitness literature it agrees with my ethos and my mindset.
Like the video I posted above, it says men should be using free weights and not machines.
Men should also be lifting heavy and relatively close to their max.
So if these men in the gym are struggling with 85lbs on a platform, then they need reassess their life and get all the way fukk out of here.
Im not even strong like that. People just do too much.
