do you guys’ pinkies slip off usually when you’re trying to rep heavy weight on the dl? this issue is pissing me off.

i feel like my prs haven’t been growing at the rate i would like anymore, i keep having off days and seemingly regressing once i hit 4 plates smh
Maybe try working on your grip. Hanging from a pull up bar or farmer walks should help

i do calisthenics so i would’ve thought it wouldn’t be so fukked up. ive been training for the one arm pull up though so maybe it’ll fix itself quickly

It won’t pleighboi . Farmers walks are the only whey. Your issue is your brain isn’t sending signals to the pinky to keep up with the rest of the hand so it lags behind and causes the slipping. Train the movement by doing farmers walks with an emphasis on holding the 45 plate as hard as you can (pause) :blessed:

240+ working sets a lot of fukking volume

I got a stomach ache but I might find my way to the gym today off the strength of that post

I told you before, the PPL runs 6 days a week for 40+ working sets a pop. :birdman:

- Squat Everyday: 2 hours minimum, can easily go over 3 when not in a rush or absolutely drained
- PPL: easily exceeds 2 hours; usually doing 40+ working sets
- nSuns: easily averages 2hrs, 45mins a session
- PHAT: hyper days might only take 1hr, 45mins but power days are always two and change
- Arnold Split: least frequently used program. Volume is absolutely brutal. Shoulders/Arms clock in @ 1,45-2. Legs go for 2.5, and Back&Chest averages 2,45 a session

Just spent 2 hours at the gym.

Tricep Curls 30 3x8
Bicep Curls 35 x 5
Bench Press 125 3x5 I had to start light because I haven't bench pressed in a hot minute. Mostly did weighted calisthenics
Weighted Squats 35 3x3
Lateral Raises 30 9x3
Farmers Walk 40 3x3


I'm exhausted af:russ:

I swear gaining muscle + weight as a ectomorph feels going through hard mode in a video game. A lot of challenges. fukk it, small progress is better than nothing

That sounds about right, just seeing it outside my logbook puts it into perspective

My working sets prolly 20-30 if I get to the gym at a decent time (1 hour - 1 hour 15 mins)
Working sets 30-40 if I get there early (1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours)
