Solid advice but I would spend extra and get an actual rack. If you're serious about really working out, just spend the extra for one.
That Rogue rack I posted can handle more than 95% of lifters need unless you see benefit of the pull-up aspect with a full rack, but you can do the entire starting strength routine with what I posted + an adjustable bench

That's why I said if he was serious about lifting, spending a little extra and getting a full rack is the way to go. I would say if you are looking to put a home gym together, you are not in the 95% you are describing. Also most full rack have almost every accessory you could need which, once again if you're serious about lifting, you will be wanting at some point. He doesn't need to get a 1k rack, but for what he's spending on the squat stands, he could add another 200-300 and get a quality rack.

I guess. IMO Serious lifters are going to go to the Gym in addition to the home gym lol. If anything home gym for me is for weather/gym close and getting in bench and squat so I dont have to wait on em at the gym.

I’m on 11th straight day without a rest day. I feel good but I think it’s catching up because I fukked my sleep up a few days & got about 4hrs each day :snoop:

I gotta get that together

That was obviously :duck:.

Longer arms mean longer levers which means the bar has to travel farther to full lockout.

Combine that with the fact that most long-armed brehs have shallower chests (bar has to travel farther down) and it's easy to see why tall skinny brehs take L's when it comes to benching. :francis:

Sleep has been my biggest challenge. Not that it’s hard to come by but I’m just a fukking night owl that loves to stay up late lol

Essentially started a 6 day PPL last Sunday. After review it won’t work for me. Basically I need Thursday’s free due to some personal reasons. So instead of getting a rest day since the 3rd I said :yeshrug:& kept it going.

I actually didn’t go yesterday but I’ll be back at it today thru Sunday
