Had a great upper body workout to end the week
No working out Saturday nor Sunday

Idno how much each is contributing but being more consistent with creatine, working out less, no cardio outside of walking, lower weights for higher reps and a slight caloric surplus got me feeling brolic again

Was waiting for you to mention slipping in a leg workout just cause you were tempted and then saying you feeling a crunching in the knee like chewing in rice krispes:sas1:..

I’m doing good so far to avoid it. Walking pass the power cage daily :takedat:

I took 10 mg of melatonin last night to make sure I woke up groggily three hours later than I normally do so I wouldn’t wake up feeling refreshed and think about doing a light leg day

:lolbron:

worked like a charm I slept 15 hours :lolbron:

I fully expect gyms to be back packed end of the month.

I walk in today & shorty asked for my vax card. I already know to have it since the mandate went in on the 3rd. What threw me off was what she said next

Do you have your card or a picture of it :gucci:

Gyms in LA are empty.

Anyone without a home gym is pouring jelly on themselves.

Brehs I would appreciate some advice. So I got some space in the basement and I was thinking about getting some kind of bench or home gym set up but when I was browsing Amazon it seems like no matter what the product is, the reviews go from 5 star "must have" to 1 star "avoid at all costs". Not really trying to take that monetary or health risk gamble :francis:.

Anyone have experience buying equipment for the house or would yall recommend just keeping it simple with a gym membership?

Btw I already have some dumbbells, kettle bells, jump rope, bike, and treadmill.

What type of workouts are you tryna do? How much do you currently workout? How much is the gym membership? How much would the bare-minimum setup run you?

SN: Folks consider initial purchase costs but usually don't consider maintenance/replacement costs when purchasing equipment.

For me, I don't have the space (would need at least about a 700-800 s.f. space), and the payback period would take a least 15 years but I'm bougie with gear and the gym, and like the ability do more stuff than most folks with home gyms can do.

I priced a simple (to me) setup and it was running about $7500 delivered, and that didn't include everything I'd want or a treadmill. I also wasn't getting stuff off of Amazon, but specialty retailers like REP and Rogue.
:francis:

Rather just pay my 35 bucks a month and stack that with my ID to be able to work out in practically any city in the country with no issues, and not have to worry about replacing or fixing or maintaining or moving shyt.
:yeshrug:

I might do one with a bigger space and budget (build like a 4- or 5-car garage, spend 20 racks on equipment) once I retire and don't have to move again.
:ehh:
