Guys, I'm kind of flabberghasted

For the most part, I'm a eat 1 big meal a day kind of individual, And I play Basketball pretty much everyday. And these aren't some " ho-hum" sessions of bball either; I'm out there working

Now, I'm 5'11. in my mind I should be 165-170 ish. I had a PT test this week, and they weighed me before, and I clocked in at 182. I'm agitated by this, because I honestly don't see how.

I drink hella water, don't drink soda, Have the occasional energy drink. I will admit my food choices aren't the greatest, but ( in my mind at least) I shouldn't be racking it up like that.

180 at 5'11 isn't some fat ass, so what are you worried about? Many would argue that you'd need to get your weight up. :stopitslime:

Tired of groupie nikkas staring when I D/L or squat heavy...had this cac videotape me today on my deadlift session...went up to him and literally had to tell and watch him delete that shyt. Literally thought the nervous whites were going to try to call the cops on me for calling him out. :gucci:

Finally able to gain muscle mass after I turned 30.

I've been killing it at the gym over the past 3 months or so.

My only problem is that I've re-aggravated my lower back injury from 8 years ago(car accident). My left lower back muscles will cinch up then I'll get nerve pain right in the left small of my back. It'll start barking during bench if I use any type of arch. Leg day is the hardest. It's fine during squats but any type of deadlift can be an issue if I'm not careful. :sadcam:

I'm about to see a chiropractor in a few weeks to see if they can get me right.

my lower back was really fukked up for a while

but then I watched a Jeff Cavaliere video

and started doing bodyweight exercises for 30 minutes 2-3 times per week

after 6 weeks i was able to engage my lower back again and improved my hack squat by 30 pounds :blessed:

If I had a nickel for every person who said somethin along these lines.. If you're really out there hoopin, play full court games for a few hours, drinking nothing but water, and only eating 1 big meal a day, you'd be losing weight.

I'ma give you the benefit of the doubt and say that you really are out there hoopin...which if you're playing full court for a few games, that's easily 500+ calories you're burning.

But you're probably eating way more than you're disclosing on here or your portion sizes are all fukked up.

Learn how to count calories, it's a fukkin science. Eat less than your maintenance calories (the number of calories it takes for you to stay the exact same weight) and you'll lose weight. That simple.

If I'm coming off condescending, I apologize. My girl is overweight and has the same fukkin excuses :mjcry:

Don't let these women outwork you, brehs.

Seeing all these fit women in the gym, at the mall, and on IG is bigger inspiration than seeing fit men, in large part because I don't want to be looking at half-naked dudes :dame:

You can call it chauvinism, toxic masculinity, fragile male ego, insecurity, or whatever you want. IDGAF. I will not be in the gym struggling some low ass weight while some bytch sits next to me and does ten reps with twice the amount. :beli:

I'm not finna be in line at the grocery store in some cargo shorts and flip flops, while my man boobs and gut stick out of my shirt and hang over my waistband, while some chick is in front of me with capped delts, vascularity, a v-taper, and tree trunk legs. :gucci:

I seen a 47-year-old woman on IG who looked fit AF. Had all the vascularity, swole delts, and v-taper I'm talking about. Ain't no way in hell I'm gonna live in a world where a lady who's damn near 50 has that good a physique while I'm still in my 20s looking :flabbynsick:

:whoa:. That does not mean doing some ego lifting shyt. Just continue to go hard and don't take your foot off the gas pedal.

God bless
