I’m taking a year off from weightlifting.

Boxing
Swimming
Running
Golf

I enjoy doing everything thing above, and weights were taking away time from those things, especially golf

Trying to cram all that in plus working out was killing my recovery time.

It’s been 3 weeks and I regret nothing

Starting to add abs and some elliptical cardio (still too humid for afternoon hill sprints:noah:)


Can't wait to get my strength back up so I can switch to a different push/pull routine.

5x355 no problem.... same story....

Last set I unracked and.... saw something relevant to my interests :shaq:.... tweaked an oblique on the damn walk out :snoop:


That's exactly how I tweaked my back, lost my tightness on walking out and :pachaha::mjcry:

Doing pretty good at the gym for a somewhat newb but can't seem to get the hang of squats. I do them once a week with my two friends, and it kills me every time. Sore for minimum two days and not a good sore :mjcry:

Doing pretty good at the gym for a somewhat newb but can't seem to get the hang of squats. I do them once a week with my two friends, and it kills me every time. Sore for minimum two days and not a good sore :mjcry:
We underestimate the capacity of our legs. Humans are evolved to walk so like breh said hit them more often. I squat/deadlift twice AND bike 30-40 miles a week. If I had more time/need I'd do even more.
