Man my goal for the future is just consistency. fukk the gains, fukk trying to keep up with other people, and fukk being out of commission just to satisfy my ego. In retrospect I always repeat the same pattern of going from walking to sprinting with every endeavor and get burned out, bored, or injured so im going to just focus on building the base up

I standby the Iron Gym Pull-up bar but I don’t see a reason for the perfect pushup.
Feels amazing to me and elimantes any pressure i used to get on my wrist doing push-ups with regular push-up bars

Found another group that plays soccer on Tue. Now I'm at 4 times a week. When my league in July starts I'll be playing 5 times a week.

I should be able to hit my goals for the summer with all this cardio. Just gotta keep the diet in check and throw in some weights. Nothing worse than being "skinny fat".

Using summer to really cut down and "turn the corner" on my plateau.

Good thing I got this London trip to work up to :whew:.

Hmm do you think that the pressure from the pushups might helps you on your pullups or lifts any? I’ve started wearing gloves with a wrist wrap on them to avoid my wrist hurting I’ve been having issues with my dominant wrist lately.

Kinda. I wanted to keep my muscle while dropping lbs but my execution was off. I'm gonna just focus more on cardio and big compound lifts. Tweaking the diet has been the tough part but getting better.

Seeing some progress. I dropped some lbs but plateaued hard.

Need to perfect my form doing squats a little better. I’m scared of going atg but feels better when i do it because my heels and my hip is driving the weight up which takes pressure off my back

I use to hit the gym pretty hard but got into a motorcycle accident in Jan 2016 and then moved to Texas shortly after. Texas with the good bbq and tacos did me in and I went from 190 to 218 real quick. Im back in Florida where good food is hard to find so cutting should be a little easier for me. I stopped eating pork 11 years ago and I recently stopped eating beef so I will have to supplement my creatine. I recently moved to a new city where the women are way more attractive and I found a gym partner so things are looking up and I have a lot more motivation to get in shape.
