Diet Over Everything.


After being humbled over and over I finally accepted that it doesn't matter how much you work out or how fit you are if you want to lose weight and change how your body looks, diet has to be number 1.

Im going to hit 170 by the end of June. Finally!

I remember my first day at my old powerlifting Gym and it was bench day, so I got under the bar and started benching, this big Viking dude came up to me and said you bench like a fukkin bodybuilder, this ain't bodybuilding this Power Lifting and you a Power Lifter now

I was like :hubie:

Then they showed me the correct way:whoo:

I'm so fukkin exhausted, every single day when I come In from the gym, I'm just beat, sometimes I'm to tired to make a shake or take my post workout. Everyday is a fukkin WAR, but that's how you get fukkin Jacked to the MAX, everybody says the want to be Strong and Jacked but scared to kill themselves in the gym:mjlol:

Had to freestyle it today instead of going for the usual 4x4 routine. Still felt like I did it. Messed with some incline bench, maybe like 115. Rare for me to jump on that. Did some dumbbell flys and dumbbell presses. Tried it with 52.5, most I've ever tried was the fifties. Then finally jumped on regular bench but only at 145 cuz there was a pair of 5s there on the rack also. Even that light, I still felt some burn, after doing the other exercises. Hopefully Thursday or Friday I can try for 195. Find a random spotter. I did see two separate guys with three plates on there. I was like :wow: and here I am trying to reach 2. I did gain an inch on my chest cuz I randomly decided to measure myself when I got home. Don't know when cuz my notes said June 2017 but I'm sure it's grown more recently since I've been going at it more.

sometimes i feel like sporadic visits to the gym are worthless. i mean, it aint like they're doing shyt :francis:
That's why when I'm really busy with life, I don't even really bother with the gym. But I try to keep my diet under control for the most part. The good thing is, I can usually get a lot of my gains back after 2-3 workouts(about a week). I could drop a picture of me right now and y'all probably wouldn't believe that i've only been working out for 2 weeks in the past 3 months :wow:

That muscle memory :whew:


I attribute most of the maintenance to having a decent base diet, drinking only water / lactaid milk and taking the stairs instead of the elevator.

Be careful with them dumbbell flys. I fukked around and got tennis elbow a couple of years back from doing dumbbell flys with 50s. Had to lift lightly for a month just to fully recover. Never again

True that. But I was messing with 15s on those. Most I would do is 20. Definitely not at your level.
