Is a smart watch worth it. I kinda already know:francis: but do you guys find much use of it in the gym? My phone kinda gets in the way

I figured I'd go with a smart watch / Bluetooth headset combo at the gym but I'm really not try to be a over consumer for products especially after just buying the new Note8.

What do u guys think?:yeshrug::ehh:

Just keep the weights heavy and you’ll be fine
I gotta work on my diet/cooking

I've ate so much spaghetti, Chicken Pasta, and Chicken/Rice over the past few months that the sight of it makes me sick now but those were my go to meal preps.

They slapped rules on the dead lift platform. One of them was to only use bumper plates. We only have enough to stack 315 with 45's, they going to need some investments :mjgrin:

The iron plates aren't smaller than the rubber ones? Our gym only has four rubber 45s but big enough to where stacking iron 45s with 'em doesn't make 'em touch the ground.

Unless that isn't allowed either :patrice:

They are smaller but if they mean we can only use bumpers I’m going to be using a 35 and tens to be over 405 :francis:

PR’d my C&J yesterday at 195#. Not a huge number for people at my weight but I’ve literally learned this movement from zero experience 6 months ago and I’m really proud of my progress this year, especially given my age.

My snatch is also moving along, albeit not as quickly in weight, but I’m gaining that mobility and comfort in my shoulders to catch them properly in the bottom of the squat.

Here at 135# for multiple singles in a row w minimal rest and feeling good...

Far from perfect but feels good to be approaching 40yo and still getting better every day.
