yeah, if you add in enough weight and focus on form and do it for time, shyt is bar none the best exercise you can do in the gym.

I use it on every back day and occasionally on leg day if I have enough energy.

my go to exercise for back is the sitting rope pull, here's a video of some cat doing it....



I do like this guy sitting flat on my butt and sometimes mix in sitting on one knee in the lunge position and pull it from nearly the same distance as the dude in the vid. My goal is to not stop at all, alternate arms and get it pulled to my feet in 30 seconds or less. and not trying to stunt but I toss 10 45 pound plates (so 450 pounds) on there plus the weight of the sled (which admittedly I forget but it is identical the one below, just all black instead of yellow)

and I been killing that shyt with ease, trying to get up to eleven 45 lb plates but I keep getting stuck at 36 seconds so i'm trying to build up to it. shyt fukking kills your whole upper body but really gets your lats and biceps burning if you sit and take the rest of your body out of it. I advise anyone who has a prowler to try it...

I don't know if it's from weightlifting or what but I've been having an acne breakout lately. Gotta stop and prevent this. :francis:

Been working out consistently for about 2 months now.

Finally can deadlift 300 lbs for 3 reps. Feels good :wow:

its been 11 months since i started calisthenics (3 months since i started weights); went from a featherweight (127lbs) to a middleweight (162lbs) :Handwow:one more year and ill be on the high end of being a light heavyweight:Handwow:

That said, I think I'm gonna ditch cardio on Saturdays. A long ride right before my longest upper body workout is too much.

I was having one of those "I'm not sore, sick, tired etc" saturdays. .. even tho I have a specific goal in mind.

just a feasting on a big ol bag of fukk it I'm taking today off from the gym "just because"


Came across this and it corrected my perspective immediately.




Got off my ass and I'm in route


Some days you do need to scale it back or even take off "just because". Today will not be one of them

I usually do a 1000 cal breakfast smoothie and my lunch is usually leftovers from the previous dinner. Then a fast dinner I whip up. 3k-3500 daily:yeshrug:

What do yall dudes do for meal prep

Sams club membership or Aldi if necessary

Grill up 6 lbs of chicken. About 24 bucks

Cook up a few pounds of 85/15 beef about 20

5 pound bag of sweet Potatoes (cut them up, boil them on low covered for about 45 mins) usually 6 bucks

Boil up 5 cups of brown rice with 2 bouillon cubes. 3 dollars.

7 Salt free canned green beans since veggies are hard to prep. 4 bucks.


Cut it up and put it in microwaveable containers

Decent containers are about 5 bucks at Walmart




If I'm feeling fancy I'll add salmon or steak with brown rice for dinner.



This takes a little over an hour for me.
